I feel like I should check in today, just because I won’t be able to post again until Monday because I’LL BE AT SOUNDWAVE FOR THE NEXT TWO DAYS MOFOS!!! …ahem. Did I say that a little loud?
At the moment I feel like the spaceship guy from The Lego Movie when they finally let him build the spaceship…SOUNDWAVE! SOUNDWAVE! SOUUUUUNDWAVE! OK I’ll stop talking about Soundwave.I swear. Continue reading
Today I started training for a 10km run. Just typing those words makes me shake my head in despair. What on earth am I thinking? I can barely run errands, let alone be able to run 10kms in three months’ time (that’s about 6.2 miles in Americanese). I must be mad.
Actually that’s a lie. I’m not mad and I know exactly what I’m thinking. This is the MS Fun Run, a charity event held to raise money for people living with Multiple Sclerosis. I can direct you to any number of helpful websites – such as MS Australia – for way more information about MS than I can give you.

I’d assume the same would go for most Australians unless they happened to be of Polynesian ancestry. So I have learned a bunch of stuff about the Pacific nations today: Continue reading
I’ve been sloppy the past few days, courtesy of having the flu. I’ve been largely lying in the fetal position and overdosing on chocolate milk since Saturday. Doesn’t leave one with much energy to write, or much to write about. My apologies.
It’s always the way that you get struck down by illness just at the exact moment you want to do something that you can’t really do while you’re ill. Continue reading
As yesterday was Chinese New Year, I decided to embrace my inner Asian and head down to the Lunar Market for some Asian food and Chinese Backstreet Boys. Well actually, it being the New Year was a complete coincidence. I just wanted Asian food. Chinese Backstreet Boys was just an added bonus. Continue reading
Alternate Title: I Don’t Want My Friends To Read This Thing
Today, 12:20pm: I eat a peanut butter sandwich for lunch.
Today, 1:20pm: I try a Picnic bar, and reject it because it has peanuts in it.
Figure that shit out. I looooove peanut butter. I dislike peanuts. Add that to the mysteries of life. Continue reading
